11.01.2022 We have some awesome entertainment planned for everyone this evening at the Fernvale Junction Feast & Trade Village event, 4pm - 9pm Fernvale Sport Park. $2 entry, dog friendly and little ones under 15 get in for free. First up, DJ BEX Discos providing a Fun, Funky, Energetic, Wow-factor Disco for our young people from 4pm - 6pm. I might add that the adults like the disco as well. Then....in comes Jodie Hughes Music and Sean Harcourt-Bell from 6pm - 9pm with some Country / ...Country Rock / Pub Rock entertainment. Based on the main road of Fernvale, Kindred Spirits offers small... businesses and service providers multi-functional space to sell their products and/or deliver their services. For our community, it will provide access to a multitude of services all under the one roof a quasi-village marketplace. We are seeking expressions of interest from small business owners and service providers wanting to join the Kindred Spirits village. 05.01.2022 There was a time not all that long ago when the latest and greatest in Maserati, Ferrari, Lotus and Jaguar roared and dived and squealed around a circuit fashioned out of a former WWII airstrip. On June 12, 1960, the nation's best drivers combined with the fastest open-wheeled machines of the day to bring Mt Tarampa onto the motor racing map, as the 25th Australian Grand Prix came to town. Open wheeled racers may have come a very long way since then, but an enthusiastic group... of locals still holds on to some very fond memories of the era. Lions Club Lowood and Fernvale and Rusco Event Management, are busy planning a big 60th Anniversary celebration of the Lowood Grand Prix, 25th Australian Grand Prix. Please join us for a trip down memory lane where you will meet and hear from local legends, view the racing cars which competed at the Grand Prix and have historic productions cars, sports cars and racing cars on display. Cars that competed at the Grand Prix 60 years ago were world class, driven by world class drivers and many will be at the event helping to celebrate this amazing time in history.
