19.01.2022 Open to customers 6am-12pm. Only 1 entrance on Brisbane valley highway!! You can’t enter the markets on the path way from the sports car park only exit from there.
18.01.2022 Fernvale Country Markets announcement - No date can be announced yet after a long discussion last night at the P&C meeting. The Fernvale State School P&C value the health and wellbeing of all Fernvale Country Markets community members. We are currently working through Operating Guidelines for Queensland State Schools and associated use of facilities and school amenities for external users. As part of this work, we are endeavouring to ensure that our Markets meet the requir...ements of a Queensland Health approved COVID Safe Industry Plan. There are a number of considerations for us to have in place prior to the opening of the Fernvale Country Markets. We continue to work on the development of this plan and hope to open in the near future. We thank you for your patience as our first and foremost priority is the Health and Wellbeing of all Fernvale Country Markets community members. Regards Fernvale State School P&C
15.01.2022 Lalalaaaaaa!!!!! Well that’s a wrap first day back was a success A big thanks to all our stall holder that came it was great to see regulars and news stalls. Unfortunately due to circumstances some stall holders couldn’t make it on the day. Thanks to the customers that came and shopped, ate, drank and enjoyed the atmosphere. Thanks to the volunteers that helped on the entry and exit gates. Huge thanks to Heather and Warren for your months of help to get the markets open ...again and to our P&C executive committee for all their hard work certainly lots of boxes to be ticked Have a wonderful week and we will see you all again next Sunday Dee market coordinator
11.01.2022 Hope everyone is doing ok in these uncertain tough times. We will post and keep everyone informed in a few months time of a date we will open again. We operate on Fernvale State Schools grounds and the markets are ran by the school P&C. We look forward to the time we can open and see you all again. 08.01.2022 Just thought I’d give everyone an update as iv had lots of enquires but unfortunately at the moment as the markets are on School grounds we are looking at a date weeks after the school goes back next term. I will post again sometime in July if I have a date to reopen. I look forward to giving you all good news soon when it’s safe to return. Thanks Kind Regards Dee Strong Markets coordinator
07.01.2022 Hello, just an update. We are aware of updates and we are all working together and finding out information to open the markets up for stall holders to start back and to have customers through the school gates as soon as we can following the COVIDSafe plans. 05.01.2022 I received sad news today that Larry who owned and operated the hot food van for many years at the markets with his wife sadly passed away yesterday. Our thoughts are with his wife Lesley and their family at this sad time.
03.01.2022 The markets are open tomorrow it will be wonderful to see everyone again
02.01.2022 We are closed. We will have a p&c meeting in the next few weeks and see if we can decide on a reopen date with a COVIDSafe plan in place.
02.01.2022 Just an update. We are still closed and no date to open yet but we will open again. We have our COVIDSafe plan ready and when parents are allowed back on school grounds we can open up to the community too. The markets are ran by the school P&C and is the schools main fundraiser.
