24.01.2022 Great news! As of next week there is easing of restrictions to dentists. We will be getting more clarification and guidelines on what we can and can't do. As soon as we know, we will be contacting our patients to attend to treatment needs that have been put on hold. 15.01.2022 Dear our Ferny Hills Dental family, It is with a heavy heart that I write this. We will be temporarily closed until the pandemic has settled down. The Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the government have moved dentistry to a Level 3 restriction for all dental practices within a matter of days this week. This has restricted dental to very limited emergency treatment.... We must prioritise the safety of the community and we all have a responsibility to reduce the risk of transmission which in turn keeps people safe. This means we are required to defer treatment for all patients with the exception of very limited emergency treatment. Unfortunately along with many other businesses we are now in a shutdown situation until current restrictions are eased. You can still reach us via phone during this time on 3351 2731. We will respond within 24 hours of contact. It is a very difficult time for everyone and we will try and be there for you as much as we can. You may have already been contacted by one of our wonderful reception staff this week regarding your upcoming appointment. I would like to thank all of you for your understanding during this difficult time and thank all my wonderful staff for doing such an incredible job adapting to constant changes this week. We will continue to monitor the situation and look forward to welcoming our wonderful patients and staff back to the practice once this pandemic is over.
