22.01.2022 As we are all aware, Victoria is now under Stage 4 restrictions. The Australian Dental Association Victoria Branch (ADAVB) have met with DHHS and DHSV to give an update on the current situation in Victoria. This follows ongoing consultations with the Chief Health Officer and Health Minister since the Victorian Governments State of Disaster announcement on Sunday August 2nd, 2020. Under the new government restrictions across Victoria, we have been informed that dental service...s will continue to operate, but that you will only be allowed to visit Ferrari Dental Care for urgent dental care. For you, this means that we can still provide dental treatment for you if you have a toothache, a broken tooth that is causing pain or your dental issue becomes problematic. All patients with treatment that is already booked and in the opinion of your clinician must be postponed will be contacted by our staff in the next couple of days. You are allowed to travel to see us even if you live more than 5km away from us. Please have your appointment details with you on your phone so that if you are asked, you have the details available. You can also ring us on 94392411 and we can confirm your appointment with the authorities. As always, the safety of our patients, their families and our staff are our top priority. Rest assured we will continue to adhere to the highest infection control standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. We also have extra patient screening processes in place to keep everyone safe. We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves and will communicate this as soon as possible. Many of our patients have commented that coming in to see us has been the highlight of their time in ISO! Dental is now at Level 1 which means well still ask you some health questions, and well still ask you to use the hand sanitizer and oral mouthwash before your treatment. ... 19.01.2022 We were so excited to be a sponsor of Nillumbik Artists Open Studios. The skill of all the artists involved this year was wonderful. We still have brochures and booklets for the 3rd weekend which is in May 2020. Just ask our Front Office Co-ordinators and they will be happy to help you. We also have some of Bens work (Duke & Duch Studios - Zone B Studio 10) displayed throughout the Practice. This was Bens first year in the program and he was well received by all of his visitors.

19.01.2022 COVID-19 The safety of our patients and staff is always our number one priority. We are closely following all advice received from Australian medical authorities, as well as the WHO (World Health Organisation) and the ADA (Australian Dental Association), regarding precautions that are needed to minimise risks concerned with the COVID-19 (2019 novel coronavirus), and are continuing to provide the latest updates to our staff.... As an Accredited Dental Practice, we already practice high hygiene standards. Our staff are fully trained to maintain high hygiene standards, including practicing proper hand sanitising procedures and cough etiquette. We are regularly reviewing the information provided to us from health authorities and the ADA and will update procedures as needed. We have a sufficient supply of dental face masks and other necessary items to enable us to continue to look after you and your dental health. In line with WHO advice, we are taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe: Our Front Office desk is wiped down with disinfectant on a regular basis. This is because contamination on surfaces touched by staff and patients is one of the main ways that COVID-19 spreads. We are actively promoting regular and thorough hand-washing by staff and patients. We have sanitizing hand rub dispensers in the Front Office area for patient use. Patients are also encouraged to wash their hands with soap and water in the allocated bathroom should they wish to do so. This is because washing kills the virus on your hands and prevents the spread of COVID-19. We are actively promoting good respiratory hygiene throughout the Practice. We have display posters promoting hand-washing and good respiratory hygiene in the Front Office area and throughout the Practice. We are combining this with other communication measures such as offering guidance, briefings at staff meetings and information to promote good hand-washing and respiratory hygiene. If COVID-19 starts to spread in our community, anyone with a mild cough or low-grade fever (37.3 C or more) will be asked to stay at home. In line with WHO recommendations, we will continue to communicate and promote the message that people need to stay at home even if they have mild symptoms of COVID-19. We are committed to ensuring the continued safety and wellbeing of all patients, families and staff and ask that everyone maintain their own responsibility of caution. By following these simple steps, we together can keep Ferrari Dental Care a safe, healthcare environment for the days and weeks ahead.
