How do you make Christ relevant to your lives and reach out to those around you? What's your favourite activity/hobby when you've got some spare time? Some sports like Basketball and Tennis. Love playing some video games with my spare time too.... What are some of your best ways to reach out to your non-Christian friends/family? I like inviting my friends to church events or to life group. But for me I’ve found that being able to be available to them and hang out intentionally gives me an opportunity to be a light to them, and can allow me to reach out to them through conversations. How do you make Christ relevant to your daily life these days? Prayer and talking to God often can be really big. It allows me to stay connected with Christ even when sometimes I don’t feel like it or if I’m too involved with what’s going on in life.

09.01.2022 Meet Rochelle Lim from our 1830s generation! We're so blessed and inspired to have her share from her heart how Jesus is relevant to her generation! What's your favourite activity/hobby when you've got some spare time? I love exercising when I have free time! Pre-COVID you’ll find me sweating out a HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout or lunging on a reformer pilates bed! During lockdown, I have really enjoyed group workouts on Zoom with friends! This is a great w...ay to catch up with friends, check in on our mental health and also motivate each other to maintain physically active! What's your favourite food to eat? This is so hard to narrow down! My favourite foods consist of: matcha, curry puffs, fried noodles and mangosteen! What are some of your best ways to reach out to your non-Christian friends/family? I reach out to my non-Christian friends by being open about my faith and walk with Christ. When friends or colleagues ask what I did during the week, I’ll share with them that I went to church and had bible study life group. When my non-Christian friends are experiencing difficult times, I’ll share a bible verse with them and offer them prayer. Sometimes even at work I’ll play worship music in the background to my patients and colleagues, and this also serves as reminder to myself that God is with me, even in my workplace. How do you make Christ relevant to your daily life these days? Regularly spending time in God’s word allows me to gain further appreciation for His divine love and how He provides for His people, time and time again. Meditating on God’s word and His character is such a humbling experience. I am constantly reminded that we live a life of abundance and we lack nothing as His children. Surrendering each day to Christ through prayer, no matter what season we are going through, has really allowed me to experience the fullness of His love, knowing that He is the Lord of Lords and our ultimate provider. I truly believe that every good and perfect gift is from above (James 1:17) and this encourages me to live a life that is pleasing and honouring to Him.

08.01.2022 Philippines update from Pastora Gee. Thank you so much to those that have contributed to our ministry. Her full letter is below: . Our nation is still under GCQ. Majority business are closed. Limited transportation are permitted to fly the route. Some of the bus drivers are asking alms in the streets to meet their daily needs. Our government has released 2x financial help to the low income families and poor. As of now, our government has announced that all the funds are us...ed up and no more financial support from them. Our Congress is rallying to slowly open the businesses help restore and stabilize our economy. Further delay would mean economic collapse. Praise the Lord, by His amazing grace, our church is shining brighter everyday. We continue to have our live stream of our Wednesday and Sunday services. Praise the Lord for the positive feedbacks we are receiving from the viewers. We are reaching more people and families for Jesus. Our members and viewers are sharing our videos to their families, relatives and friends locally and abroad. Last April and June we were able to distribute foods packs to poor families in our community outreach including frontliners. We intend to use the solicited funds you wil raise to bless our members and poorest families and pastors around Bagong Silang, far north of Caloocan. Our members residing there are jobless since March start of quarantine. This is a slum or squatter areas where people are living hand to mouth. Our members there have been with us since we started the church. Please pray for the curving of Covid19 cases so businesses can open soon to ease unemployment problem . Also pray that soon churches will be opened to meet up every Sunday so we can minister face to face. Also the mental health issues of people. A lot are experiencing loneliness, depression and anxieties due to strict quarantine for more than six months. This is true for the seniors, adults, youths and children alike. And the adjustment of our students to home schooling. They are having hard time adjusting. Thank you for your prayers and support.
