24.01.2022 Last week we wished you a Happy New Financial Year and provided details on our office hours, unfortunately these details have been changed. As you most likely are aware, yesterday afternoon, Premier Daniel Andrews announced that metropolitan Melbourne will re-enter Stage 3 lockdown restrictions for six weeks, commencing this evening at midnight. This means our office will again be closed for a period of at least 6 weeks inline with this government directive. While our office ...is closed, we remain OPEN and can take appointments virtually or via telephone. Information can be emailed or posted to our office, if this is not an option for you please contact Bianca or Paige at reception on (03) 9727 6700, they will find a way to get your information. 21.01.2022 How To Apply For Facebook COVID-19 Australian $6400 Business Support Grant - Step-By-Step Application Process. APPLICATIONS CLOSE 22nd SEP! In this video Mollie from The Field Group Accounting will be guiding you step by step on how to apply for the recently announced Facebook Business Support Grant to help businesses affected by the second round of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. Facebook will be offering to approximately 465 local businesses in Melbourne or Sydney, up to $6...400 in funding ($4000 in cash and $2400 in advertising). In order to apply, you must first ensure that you are eligible. Eligibility criteria and the application form can be found below. Registrations close on 22nd of September so be quick. 20.01.2022 Given the current situation with COVID-19 and the direction given by the state health authorities, TFG team will continue to work from home for the month of July. However, our reception will be open Monday to Friday during the hours of 9am to 5pm to allow you to drop off or pick up documents. 16.01.2022 In response to the Stage 3 restrictions reinstated across metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire on July 8 2020, the Victorian Government has announced a new support fund for businesses impacted by the lockdown. This program is in addition to the first $10,000 Business Support Grant, which closed on 1 June 2020. 15.01.2022 As we come to the end of a big 2020, we'd like to bid farewell to Chris Allan and wish him all the best in retirement. Chris has been a major player in helping build The Field Group's reputation over the last few decades and we cannot thank him enough for his contribution, guidance and coaching to all our staff. Thank you for showing us how to be great accountants, but more importantly how to enjoy life! Despite Chris moving over to Viridian advisory a couple of years ago, we felt it appropriate to photoshop him into The Field Group staff photo. 10.01.2022 The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) officially opened their JobKeeper application process on Monday. Businesses impacted by the Coronavirus will be able to access a wage subsidy from the Government to assist in continuing to pay their employees. Eligible employers will be able to claim a fortnightly payment of $1,500 per eligible employee from 30 March 2020, for a maximum period of 6 months. A lot of questions have been raised from businesses and employees over the last coup...le of weeks regarding eligibility criteria and the different circumstances in which JobKeeper may or may not apply. This is a rebate available for businesses using new digital products or upgrading existing digital products up to the value of $1,200. This one is for businesses that operate in Victoria, held an ABN at 13 September 2019 and were registered for GST at the same date. ... This is open for applications until 28 Feb 2021 and will continue until all funding has been allocated. Feel free to share to any businesses you know that might fit the criteria.
