12.01.2022 Another group of properties through Grazing BMP accreditation. Any person who sais BMP is "just a tick and flick" has obviously never done an audit! Arguably T...HE most rigorous of all the industry audits. Congratulations on your outstanding preparation, enthusiasm and belief in the program- Tracey and Jim Rollinson managers of Leichhardt Creek Stn for Barrett&Horsfall, Ross and Tracy Tapiolas 6 Mile Creek and the Smith Family of Dreghorn Stn. Thanks also to Tim Rylance from SGS - you go alright See more

10.01.2022 Thank you to Jim Wade from Wade Agricultural consulting for visiting the farm and giving us improved feeding regimes! Knowledge is key to good decision making.

09.01.2022 So .... My day job is to promote good land stewardship and effective management of natural resources which build resilience into the environment and ultimately businesses! Therefore it would be completely contrary to everything I know if I didn't practice what I preach. Hence our management on Fifty Fifty. We run the pigs using rotational grazing , each paddock is given adequate rest to recover from the graze period. We also plant forage and mung beans which establish during the rest period. Not pretending that we are perfect - we are far from it! Some of our paddocks are still too big which results in an uneven graze and sacrifice zones around the waters but we are learning from our mistakes and as time and money permits we are making paddocks smaller - lots smaller and lots of them!!

07.01.2022 Little pig little pig! Lovely pumpkins for dinner thanks to our good friends farmer Col and Toni from Northdale Farms!

05.01.2022 New life at the farm - 9 babies - first of the FFF Beckham progeny. That's two lots of nine in a week - trying to crack it for ten!

03.01.2022 Beautiful day spent with the Fifty/50 Free Range Berkshire pigs at Gumlu, most contented pigs in Queensland love your work Lisa Daryl and Mitch

02.01.2022 Paddocks coming out of a graze compared with rested paddocks - admittedly we have had some rain but still an amazing amount of response in the "non growing" season.
