19.01.2022 On Saturday December 12th we will have a novice competition in Lilydale. Due to Covid we will split the day up into two halves followed by an amateur Boxing event in the early evening. In the morning we will have Mat Sports, matching grappling, Mod MMA, Mod Thai and Kickboxing. At lunchtime we will then have novice level boxing bouts. He was a great trainer and brought a champion boxer Ky Hawkins to Lightning Fight Centres to continue his amateur career as well as having a few other boxers compete at our boxing events in Lilydale over the last few years. He started his first boxing club with Alf Harris at the Lilydale Youth club over 30 years ago before moving to his home forming the Coldstream Boxing Club. He was an absolute legend, a great friend and will be greatly missed. See more
