These goals take time and can often lead do disappointment and loss of motivation. However, it is important to recognise and celebrate each small achievement along the way. Are you able to lift 5kg heavier then when you started?Have you noticed a change in your shape even if the scales arent shifting? Aditi is one of our Semi-Private members and each sessions she ends with a Fitness Finisher, a personal challenge that she smashes every week!! We are celebrating Nat’s gorgeous baby girl turning 1 and as you can see the accomplishments Nat has made over this past year. Fight For It PT offers recorded classes to do at your own time. Nat found these classes convenient to do in her own time mixed in with our Virtual classes. Now that things are getting back to normal Nat has been smashing as many classes as she can get to enjoying the outdoors experience. I would like to thank Kaete & Anna for everything they do for Mike & my little business. Mike is very close to retirement with his role in FFIPT. We are very proud of what we have built, we have amazing members and we have beautiful staff in Kaete & Anna. ... 2020 has been a tough year for everyone but we found each other and are doing our best to give people an awesome experience and lots of fun memories when they train with us. 04.01.2022 Most of us understand the benefits of adequate fruits and vegetables in our diet, however, sometimes this can be easier said than done! Today we are sharing 10 tips for sneaking fruit and veggies into our everyday: Start with Breakfast: fruit on your cereal, spinach with your eggs or a breakfast smoothie. All of these are simple additions to your daily routine that can help you reach half of your total serves. Snack on Dried Fruit: raisins, banana chips and so much more! ...Dried fruit is a great way to snack on something healthy AND delicious! Remember small amounts as dried fruits are high in sugar. Pair With a Spread: apples and peanut butter, bananas and vegemite, carrot with tahini....(strawberries and nut spreads)- all delicious and simple ways to include fruit & veggies with your lunch sandwich. Cold Cuts and Salad: if youre more of a savoury person, turkey, ham, bologna will pair beautifully with salads such as lettuce, tomato, cucumber and more! Dinner Salad Bar: select and prepare a variety of vegetables and cheeses for everyone to make their own preferred salad. Drink your Serves: store and assortment of sugar-free (besides natural sugars) juices and feel free to get creative! Start a family cocktail night where everyone pours themselves a glass of their favourite juice over ice with straws and cocktail umbrellas! Fruity Desert: take one scoop of ice cream with fresh or frozen berried for flavour Diversity in Look and in Flavour: try making fruit kebabs or faces on plates with various kinds of fruits to encourage a diverse diet Sneaky Soups: sneak extra veggies in soups, broths, minced dishes, etc for added flavour and servings Family Activity: choose a day of the week where 1 family member, friend or roommate picks a vegetable to be added to dinner. 02.01.2022 STRETCHING AND STRENGTH So far on this account we have discussed the benefits of foam rolling and control - 2 of the countless benefits that come with stretching However, many people still avoid or ignore stretching as they dont believe it can help them achieve their goals of strength training. But this attitude is all wrong Stretching is an amazing compliment to strength training. Stretching lengthens muscle tissue and increases flexibility, allowing you to ...perform exercises with increase range of motion and increasing effectiveness. Post-workout stretches aid in circulation of fresh blood and nutrients to fatigued muscles as well as helping to remove lactic acid and therefore reduce pain. 01.01.2022 #celebrationsaturday Today we are celebrating the lovely and energetic Kerrie, who not only was the winner of our latest competition but has also reached 1000 WORKOUTS As part of our 10-Week Kickstart Challenge, we encouraged members to bring a friend along to their workouts and enter their name to win a private training session with Cass! Last Friday, Cass and Kerrie spent a great session going over technique for various moves such as barbell glute bridges, kettlebell rows and Turkish get-ups! Kerrie has also now officially completed 1000 workouts with FFIPT, and incredible achievement that took a lot of time, commitment and motivationCongratulations to Kerrie, not only for winning the competition and smashing out a great session with Cass but for achieving this I amazing feat
