25.01.2022 Figtree Rovers are keen to keep our weekly activities going while self-isolating, so we have come up with a weekly challenge to increase engagement with our Scouting friends. Our first challenge hit the challenge area of creative, with the aim to create a horse throwing a frisbee. Here's what we came up with.

25.01.2022 Last night Figtree Rovers trialed our first face to face meeting since the pandemic started! It was a great opportunity to hand out the NYP badges we received. With Bunnings' kind donation our evening was sanitized to the max! #bunnings

25.01.2022 This week Figtree Rovers gathered to teach each other how to make some of our favourite meals. From fried rice to chicken parmigiana and a cake in a mug for dessert, we all had a delicious night.

21.01.2022 Last night we broke into 3 teams to complete our virtual scavenger hunt! From showing how apocalypse ready our pantries are, finding flip phones, recreating history, showing off our pets and making pirate hats, we all had a fun-filled night.

19.01.2022 Last night some of the Figtree rovers, along with one of our friends from Tablelands Rover Crew, were challenged to create a dish using mostly chickpeas! It was a great night to catch up and try new things.

18.01.2022 Last night, some of us had fun trying to stay alive in survival mode in Minecraft... Our weekly challenge was to create a fort, which the Rovers enjoyed a lot!

15.01.2022 3,2,1... blast off! Last night Figtree Rovers aimed for the stars with our bottle rockets. Though we didn't quite make it that far, the night was still out of this world!

15.01.2022 Last night Figtree and 1st Austinmer Rover Scouts got together for a throwback party night. Overall it was great night with fun bingo, good food and dressing up. We had so much fun catching up that we forgot to take photos! Figtree's RRC delegates did us proud last night by winning the Rover themed meme competition with the below entry

14.01.2022 It was such a clear night that few of us took the opportunity to hike last night. The dam & old abandoned buildings were kind of eerie... perfect for telling ghost stories!

13.01.2022 Last night Figtree Rovers were invited to 1st Austinmer Rover Scouts' Hangdog night with the Venturers. The members who attended had a great night and we look forward to doing more activities together! A few of our delegates also attended the Region Rover Council meeting. We would like to thank our old council for their hard work and congratulate our new council members on their positions.

13.01.2022 This week Figtree Rovers had a beach night at North Gong. We had fun messing around on the beach with the soccer ball and glowstick frisbees. Congratulations to those who managed to brave the cold water - it was quite entertaining!

08.01.2022 Last night Figtree Rovers had a blast from the past with our games night featuring singstar! Some definite highlights of the night were our High School Musical and ABBA renditions.

08.01.2022 Last night Figtree Rovers ran a Minecraft night for the SC&T Venturers. It was a great night and they had fun defeating the ender dragon together! To stick with the theme, this week we were challenged to create some armour.

07.01.2022 Last night Figtree Rovers invited our fellow Rover units to our virtual Christmas in July party! We had a fun night of festive cheer with dressing up our pets, making marshmallow snowmen and talking all about our perfect Christmas.

04.01.2022 Last night Figtree Rovers had their first online meeting! We played a version of online pictionary that one of the Rovers developed. We all had a great time and look forward to continuing to have fun together through the isolation period.

03.01.2022 Last night we joined Albion Park Venturers at the skate rink to celebrate one of their member's last nights. It was awesome being able to see everyone and listen to some bangers. Some people even tripped out of their comfort zones with a bit of speed skating!
