25.01.2022 Having previously wined, dined and bantered their way through the north of England, Italy, and Spain, 'The Trip to Greece' finds Coogan and Brydon, in character as lightly fictionalised versions of themselves, off on another edifying Grand Tour under the guise of writing restaurant reviews for The Observer. This time their trip is the homewards route taken by Odysseus after the Trojan War. Join them on the journey tomorrow!

23.01.2022 'Love Opera' directed by Liselle Mei follows opera star Lisa Gasteen as her students audition for and perform in a production of Bizet's Carmen with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Italian conductor Giovanni Reggioli, who has worked at the Washington National Opera, says of 50 singers that start studying voice I think two make it a professional career. It is a dying art form, the film makes clear, but there is so much hope in these young people as they nervously audition. You can tell in the first 10 seconds, says Alondra de la Parra, the conductor and music director of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra of an audition. You don't need anything else because it is so clear." Watch the opera students battle against the odds in 'Love Opera' on Wednesday!

04.01.2022 Ahead of an upcoming exhibition, Dan is approached by a South Sudanese cab driver, Sebastian (Andrew Luri), who arrives on his door with a special request: that Dan photograph an African community choir he belongs to. My first thought was that this would lead to the broken Dan becoming whole again by belting out a few uplifting songs with the choristers. But Sebastian has an ulterior motive: he doesn’t want Dan to exhibit photographs of a massacre at the village where he lived 15 years ago. He has his own reasons for this, which are explored over the course of the running time and are points of tension between the two characters.
