25.01.2022 Filipinos celebrate Buwan ng Wika (National Language Month) every August. So before the month ends, we're proud to announce this collaboration with Ali-Bata, your destination for Filipino children's books. Ramos who designated a week in August to celebrate Linggo ng Wika (National Language Week) in August, which eventually became a month-long celebration? Back in the Philippines, schools would celebrate through poetry, slogan-making, and 'sabayang pagbigkas' or choral recitation, to name a few activities. Through this collaboration, we hope to encourage young Fil-Aussie children to learn more about their Filipino roots with these Book Bundles.

Leaving a career in the public sector to study astrophysics, it soon became apparent that the drive and passion that this upbringing instilled would be better served in the environmental field. A former member of the Royal Australian Navy, Gordon is an active Leader in Scouts Australia and is involved in teaching environmental values and principles to young people.
