16.01.2022 Firstly, Happy New Year!!! 2020... the year of transition. After having a little baby (now toddler) and the changes that come with becoming a mum there are some changes that Filter has already had to embrace; reduced available hours, smaller projects, increased focus (turbo mum mode!). ... This has meant that my clients have had to be more flexible than I would have liked. They have been WONDERFUL!! Absolute superstars!! Thanks guys, I can't tell you how your support has helped me with the changes to both my work and personal life!! BUT, the time has come that Filter (i.e. now just me) has to adapt again to be able to continue great work with my clients but also embrace new clients and be able to help on a larger scale. So this means becoming part of a larger team with broader experience and capabilities. Filter is NOT closing and will still be available for work but larger projects may need our bigger team!! ... * *... ' ' . 11.01.2022 Colour is a vital element in brand communication, but sometimes getting consistency is challenging across various mediums. When it’s done right, the brand has so much more impact. Today I was at Bunnings and it is clear that Ryobi have it pretty well perfect. Their products, packaging, signage and labels all are colour matched with such precision that I stopped to compare the product plastic with the printed cardboard box. You couldn’t have got a closer match. The brand’s use... of colour is quite incredible. Kudos to the design team. They’ve really nailed it! (See what I did there?! )

01.01.2022 Hi everyone! I’ll be taking some time off now! In roughly 13 days (give or take) Matt and I will be having a baby boy! All my client work has now been completed as of today (woo hoo) and I’m free to put my feet up and do the last of the pre-baby preparations. We are so excited to meet our little guy.... I’m aiming to be back in early February depending on how everything goes. Wish us luck!! And see you in the new year.
