08.01.2022 Crazy to see a story by AMP yesterday showing 1 in 5 Aussies haven’t got $250 in savings I will say I haven’t verified it, I just saw it apparently a study was done and they released it Clearly money in the bank has crazy low returns but that’s no safety net and a risk to liquidity And the Reserve bank has cut its rates to all time lows not necessarily passed on by the banks we shall see ... Time to transform this is now This is crazy in a bad way

02.01.2022 Beyond Heartbreaking to hear the story today of a 35 year old healthy mom with 3 young children married to the love of her life has passed away from the flu Grateful the community has supported them and set up a Go Fund Me page Doubtful as a nail technician she had enough life insurance in place so this family is ok It’s life and it throws us curveballs but this one well heartbreaking and it’s impact long term financially is even worse Has made me realise how I must take financial literacy to the next level so us ordinary fabulous Aussies have only to deal with the heartache not financial destruction as well
