13.01.2022 After an unexpected year, I’m thoroughly enjoying a quiet final day of 2020 ... watching a Harry Potter movie marathon with my beautiful family. Thank you to all of the amazing people who have joined me on their path to better health and happiness. Helping you to find your spark has been my absolute highlight of the past six months. I feel grateful to have held your trust and that you have shared your journeys with me thus far. Always remember why you began. Remember the pro...gress you have made and that change requires consistency in growth and development. Know that I am always here for you. 01.01.2022 RESET When you’re working towards a health goal (or any goal, for that matter) and you have a day of unfocus or indulgence, it’s so important not to kick yourself or beat yourself up about it. That is simply LIFE!... We can’t be machines, who do exactly as they’re supposed to every minute of every day. What IS important, is to RECOGNISE the slip up and then GET BACK TO IT. GUILT doesn’t help whatsoever. Guilt often makes you fall further in to the indulgence. It sends a message to yourself that what you’ve done was WRONG (which it wasn’t) which leads to increased negative self-talk and greater potential self-sabotage. If you have NO GUILT when you a) eat the cake b) gobble up the savoury platter or c) have a few beers or drinks, then you ALLOW YOURSELF to LIVE LIFE IN THE BALANCE.
