22.01.2022 Being in temporary accommodation can be scary: you’re surrounded by people you don’t know and many don’t know when they’ll find a permanent home. When you’re there, the last thing you want to be worrying about is going to the shops and cooking dinner. That is why this photo is today’s Feel Good Friday post. We were blown away this week by the kindness and generosity of the charity that filled this freezer in a temporary accommodation block in Sydney’s South West. What a heart warming sight, and one that warmed the belly of a client of ours. He smiled as he told us how happy he was to have a variety of home cooked meals to choose from that are ready after only a few mins in the microwave. There are so many good people in this world, and to them, we say thank you!

13.01.2022 It's Feel Good Friday and today we are sharing some pictures of our wonderful client who found his forever home this week! He had no furniture or possessions, so we called in some friends to help get him set up in his new home. Thank you to @Allity Aged Care for donating an adjustable bed so he can sleep comfortably, and a huge thank you to Freny from Sydney Food Share for the bags of food, toiletries, goodies and a hand-knitted blanket.
