21.01.2022 Coming up to our 4th weekend since we planted the 2020 crop and it is already poking through and enjoying the sunlight! We regularly water the acre for optimal growth and with a bit TLC and a whole lot of sun, we expect our crop to grow around 700-800mm high by the time harvest comes around early November Trivia time! ... 10.01.2022 We have received our first fan recipe submission! Romana and Brad from Newcastle are over the moon with their Garlic Bread and Moreton Bay Bugs creation using our Fine Earth Garlic! As simple as mincing the garlic (measure with your heart) and mixing it in with butter to then generously lather over the bugs cut in half before chuckin them on the barbie for a few minutes .simples! and bloody delicious ... 07.01.2022 Riverglen Farm Update: 2020 crop has been planted! We are super excited (as we are every year) to watch this beautiful produce grow What now for the crop? Being certified Organic means we are strictly governed by the processes associated to our organic certification. To put it simply, no nastys are allowed to be fed into or put on the crop, this guarantees that only the best product will be produced for you. ... You can see we have applied a thick layer of mulch which controls any weed infestation, also provides a wonderful blanket for our growing garlic and biodiversity to proliferate.
