05.01.2022 I commonly hear clients say they only wear sunscreen in the summer or on sunny days. Unless you live in a cave or walk through windowless underground tunnels all day, everyday, then your skin is exposed to UVA light. Most people will acquire sun damage incidentally as UVA rays penetrate through the windows of your home, your car windows, bus and on the train. This happens even in winter and on cloudy days . It is the number one reason for skin ageing. UVA is constant all ye...ar round and the damage is accumulative. It is able to penetrate into the dermis and cause DNA damage and cell mutation. Also breaking down the collagen and elastin which is essential for keeping our skin youthful and plump. UVB rays are stronger in the summer months when its hot and sunny. They are only able to penetrate the epidermis where they can cause DNA damage and cell mutation. The damage is noticed as sunburn, suntan or skin pigmentation. This is why you should be as devoted to putting on sunscreen everyday as you are brushing your teeth. Do you wear your sunscreen daily?

03.01.2022 Colour correction My lovely client had her eyebrows previously microbladed with another therapist 3 years ago. Unfortunately her tattoo turned blue. Using the powder effect technique I added warmth back into her brows and finished off with the desired colour and shape. What a difference

02.01.2022 As some of you already know I will be moving to Brisbane within the next couple of months. My partner received a promotion and we decided this is the best next step for our future. In regards to the future of my business it is not over, however I will be taking a little break. My last day in Coogee will be the 26th of September. I will be looking into the option of flying down once a month to still see clients when everything starts normalising. However this is depending on... a few factors so I cant promise anything! I will also eventually be opening up in Brisbane. I will be posting educational posts and videos on skincare & beauty on my page in the meantime. I just want to say how much I truely appreciate all of my clients and everyone who has supported my business. I cant believe how far its come so quickly. This has been a hard time for me but I know great things are to come! After the end of September I will only be contactable via email [email protected] or on my social media
