15.01.2022 Some patchy internet connection and phone coverage in Central Australia so I'm catching up on some posts. The first stop on The Ghan is Marla in far northern South Australia.... Breakfast with a bonfire and a beautiful sunrise. The food onboard is excellent quality with a great menu for each meal which is served in two sittings but varies depending on the number of guests onboard. Gold Class cabins are small but cleverly designed. Bunk beds are converted to lounges for the daytime while you are having breakfast.

11.01.2022 Very happy to say I am traveling again! Have spent two excellent days in Adelaide visiting Glenelg and Hahndorf and tomorrow we are on The Ghan to Darwin. Anyone who wants to do a similar trip... I have many up to date recommendations and tips. Will be posting pics each day now.

04.01.2022 Apologies if I have been a little slow in responding to emails or phone calls this past week or so... Unless you have been on an international space mission you will know that we are currently experiencing the most comprehensive travel restrictions ever experienced in modern history and as a result it has been the most difficult and emotional time in my 35 + year career in the travel industry and my business is suffering but soldiering on. COVID-19 has certainly made its mark... around the world and in an effort to curb its rapid spread and protect our most vulnerable people the last few days have seen unprecedented border restrictions and the temporary suspensions of many cruise ships, tour companies and flights globally. I just wanted to take a moment out to let you all know that right now all of my energy and time is currently focused on assisting clients who are travelling at present or are / were due to embark on their travels in the coming weeks. I am working tirelessly behind the scenes with the assistance of my amazing MTA family to look after my clients - Keeping myself up to date with the constantly changing advice from DFAT, the WHO, IATA and the hundreds of supplier, insurance, airline and ground operator policies that are being released hourly. As an agent I have most of these policies available at my fingertips when needed which helps me navigate the refunds, waivers and options available to my clients. My number one goal is to salvage what I can for each client booking, that being a possibly revised holiday or the best financial outcome available, so please know that I have your back. For those who are travelling past May and may not have heard from me yet, rest assured that I am monitoring the situation and will be in touch in due course or you can email me anytime.
