24.01.2022 'TEAM TALK TUESDAY' A day of training at FEMG It's not just orientation and office procedures when you start working with us!

23.01.2022 'TEAM TALK TUESDAY' So we've introduced you to just about all the team. Yes we still have our 'newbies' to go, but we nearly forget our Office Manager. Robyn joined the FEMG team in March 2017 and quickly became our Administration Manager due to her professional and efficient nature. Robyn currently oversees our Administration and Accounts team and realises the value of first impressions and ensures her staff are well equipped to cater for the large number of clients who cont...act our office daily. Robyn has numerous roles within FEMG including assisting Darren with Human Resources, managing accounts and has been an influential person working with Ramon to implement our current software and training the Technician Team how to use our field programs. Robyn has made a huge impact in her short time with FEMG and, along with her team, has helped FEMG thrive. Robyn is known as our ‘Mother Hen’, providing meals and treats for FEMG Staff to enjoy and giving the odd bit of advice we all need! Outside of the FEMG life, Robyn spends her time looking after her family and relaxing with a good book. Robyn is also community minded and volunteers with The Anderson Dancers.

18.01.2022 'TEAM TALK TUESDAY' Chris started with us in March 2019 and is eagerly learning the trade. He has enjoyed being out in the field with the senior technicians meeting all our clients and learning the ropes. He was know as the quiet guy to begin with, but now we're starting to see his quick wit and amusing sense of humour. ... Chris is a family man. On weekends he enjoys exploring with his family, camping, bushwalking, road trips to surrounding little towns and recently kitted out his wife with her own fishing equipment to add to their adventures. For some quiet time he enjoys gaming and watching Port Adelaide (we won't hold that against him )

17.01.2022 'TEAM TALK TUESDAY' Ramon is one of the Directors who works from our Port Augusta Office. He is our Asset and Procurement Manager and Co-Ordinator. In this role Ramon manages our Storeroom, Vehicles and overall maintenance of our Port Augusta site. Ramon also runs our L & D Training sessions in-house and out in the field for our clients.... Ramon has been busy implementing the current software we use to manage the day to day running of FEMG and continues with the development and training within the company. Ramon is passionate about fire safety and has helped build FEMG into the striving company it is today, initially he saw the opportunity for FEMG to expand and prosper, but found it a bit daunting going against National Companies. When asked what his favourite thing about FEMG was, he simply said ‘Seeing what has been achieved over the years’. Ramon has been a retained Fire Fighter with the Port Augusta MFS since 1997. In recent years, he has caught the travelling bug and is always on the lookout for the next holiday destination, or concert so he can get away with his wife, Sharon. He is a family man and enjoys the company of his Children and gorgeous Grandkids.

14.01.2022 'TEAM TALK TUESDAY' You may have noticed we haven't posted on a Tuesday for a few weeks now, we have decided to move our 'TEAM TALK TUESDAY' to a monthly post so we can bring you the important news and events happening within our company and community! Please read the story below, if you have an opportunity to speak with a local MP or asked your opinion regarding the privatisation please, please make yourself be heard loud and clear!... This will not have a huge impact on just the Fire Protection Industry, but the local Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Builders, those currently holding jobs in the DPTI Offices! If we lose contracts due to the privatisation, we lose staff, our local suppliers lose our business and the ripple effect will take hold and effect many regional areas! It will not only effect our work force and local small and medium businesses it will effect our ability to support the many clubs, events and not for profit organisations we sponsor and donate to each year, not just in our home towns of Port Augusta and Port Pirie, but across the entire State! DIRECTOR... Wade Kammermann Wade is the Director based in the Port Pirie area. Darren started Port Augusta Fire Equipment Services in the early 1990s and then worked with Fire Equipment Services SA (along with our other Directors). ... Darren has great passion for fire safety and has an enormous knowledge base regarding the regulations and formalities which govern the industry.
