15.01.2022 It's Firebreak Flashback Friday and this photo was taken about 2015 when we were successful in getting water to our bottom paddocks - a real breakthrough in the successful management of our stock. And, by the end of this weekend we expect to have water to the top of the Firebreak - our visitors will know this as the spot where we have Sunset Drinks.....we've been on a mission to open up these higher paddocks so that the ones lower down can have the chance to regenerate. We ar...e so close! FYI - From ground level this is a 40m vertical lift. Stay tuned. We can't wait to share a photo showing that we have water at the top of the hill. Happy Friday Everyone #sustainablefarming #southburnett #familyfarms #dorpersheep #paddocktoplate

10.01.2022 This is what I love about doing business locally. We use Frohlies Meats to process our lambs for our paddock to plate business, not only are they excellent at what they do, we get to support not only a local family, but also a family that invests in the youth of our town. That's a win win. #localbusiness Yarraman Business Group Inc... Visit South Burnett Inc. #toowoombaregion #yarraman #SupportSmallBusiness #paddocktoplate #dorpersheep #dorperlamb See more

05.01.2022 This is the heart of the Firebreak Farm - our laneway! 02.01.2022 This is the current face of Firebreak - our landscape is changing! On the hill you can see our neighbours working away. Since coming back to the Firebreak farm we have been very lucky to enjoy the green hills as these HQPlantation trees have been growing. Now, it’s time to harvest and supply the timber to build new homes and be put to use elsewhere. This is the reality of rural life, behind consumption there is production and turn over on our land. In the foreground, you c...an see that our paddocks are spent. The past 12 months have been some of our hardest and we have been grappling with recovering from the drought whilst also rebuilding our flock. Our paddocks are dry but just as the seasons change, this too will pass. We know people will always want high quality, pasture raised, ethical produce and through all of the faces of Firebreak we will be there to ensure there is supply too! #firebreaklamb #paddocktoplate #ethicalfarming #knowyourfarmer #lamb #pasturefed #toowoombaregion #southburnettregion

02.01.2022 Here at Firebreak we'd like to continue to introduce you to the people behind it all! Today, it's our leading lady's turn! Meet Jane! (And her loyal hound, Ned!)
