Tomorrows loaves are crusty white, 100% khorasan, green olive and rosemary and fruit, seed and spice There will also be a VERY limited number of vanilla custard tarts with a sprinkling of home-grown finger-lime as well as some hefty pain au chocolat. 19.01.2022 Hello all you lovely peeps. Chay and I hope everyone is staying safe and with loved ones during this bonkers bushfire season. Just a quick message to say we will not be making bread this week due to power outages, no phone service, impending apocalypse etc etc. So sorry for any inconvenience and hunger pangs. We are rapidly running out of emergency frozen loaves and will soon need to eat "white fluffy" (not the neighbours cat). Anyway, we will let you all know when bread pr...oduction is back online. 15.01.2022 Some of us like to think we have a "luminous region" below our abdomen, but alas. We named our bakery for the fireflies that we see every spring among the trees and shrubs just metres away. We love to watch them perform their "magic", which of course is a result of millennia of bio-engineering via natural selection. Nawww cute lil' guys . Biomimetic tech is surely the future. Well now, something to ponder while we bake and eat bread haha! #fireflies

She is OK now thankfully. Apologies that we won't have your usual treats, I was hoping to run a smaller stall but have been sick myself.
