24.01.2022 Composting at FISHBOWL was initiated over a year ago at our kitchen + in-store. It has allowed us to divert literal tonnes of food + compostable waste from landfill, each week our organic waste is processed and returned to farms as fertiliser. ALL of our takeaway packaging (bar the lid*) + food scraps is compostable so PLEASE dispose of your rubbish accordingly! #changefastfood #changetheculture

Originally from Paris, Jerome aka Paul Jextra aka Caravan has spent the last twelve years in Sydney oscillating between studios, acoustics labs and DJ booths all the while effecting everything he does with an impeccable ear and a taste for off-kilter left-field dance music and quirky Balearic sounds, with a focus on the late 70s to early 90s. His tas...tes span continents as do the DJs he’s supported; Daniele Baldelli, Peggy Gou, Jan Schulte, Orpheu The Wizard have all had their Sydney floors warmed by some Caravan magic. While his original productions on Ken Oath, Planet Trip and his own label Treat Street have created huge buzz locally and internationally. Our compost system has seen tonnes of food waste diverted from landfill and sent to farms as fertiliser for crops. We can all contribute to a more sustainable ecosystem around food, were not perfect, but everyday we inch a little closer.
