10.01.2022 African cichlid tank is up and running, temp canister filter helping out the new internal sump, looks awesome. Will add more K2 as they build up bio matter, too much is just floating at moment. The sump is 100litres if the 600 litre tank, fed by 5000 lph pump, spilt 1/2 to sump and 1/2 back to tank through filtre sock. Sump has sponge and wool into baffle, then into k2 and lastly into over flow with living plants. I'm hoping this will be enough but will adapt as needed.
