16.01.2022 last night, the Donnybrook Balingup CCI put on a meet the electors night held at the Donnybrook Country Club. Thank you for the invite and to meet many of the business owners and planners of the town who approached myself andother candidates with new ideas and bug bears of the shire and of course how to fix them. Don't forget tuesday next week is the last chance you have to post your vot by mail. After that day it is best to drop them into the shire office or the polling station on the day.
16.01.2022 I spent today meeting with a resident concerned over projects with in the council and the lack of transparency. With new blood we will achieve transparency, with this too will come respect and trust once again in our council.
14.01.2022 Today is the last chance to get your vote in. You have till 6pm tonight. They can be dropped off at the polling station. Then we will find out our new councillors. Good luck everyone.

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, The counting has been done and unfortunately I did not make the new team. There has been change with four new faces on the council, hopefully this leads to as Shane Atherton Candidate for Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup has lead with, renew and respect with in the shire. Positive growth , positive community feeling and an increase in future growth. ... Congratulations Shane, Anita Lindemann candidate for Donnybrook/Balingup shire election 2017, Brian Piesse Candidate for Donnybrook Balingup, Anne Mitchell and Leanne Wringe Candidate for Donnybrook Balingup. Hopefully you can restore harmony to the shire.
05.01.2022 Thank you to all the residents who have contacted me and apologies to those i have not. It is great to see and hear you all care about your community so much and want to see changes to improve the harmony and quality of changes to the shire. To stop waste and the bleeding of money from the shires budget. To instigate reform to ensure that budget money is spent well and not being blown out. To do this we need change and remove the rot and drain from the shire. Only then will we see harmony once again.
