23.01.2022 How cool are these Humpback Dolphins at Tin Can Bay! They have been coming here for 70 years now! Three generations! I'll put a video in our stories of the four adults and two calves that came in for Monday's feeding at Barnacles Dolphin centre. It was a touch freezing but totally worth it! 04.01.2022 Hello! It's been a while since we introduced ourselves and there are a whole lot of newcomers around here so I thought we should share a bit about who we are... Kip and I (Marleigh) have been together since high school and have always loved the outdoors. Social distancing is kind of our normal way of life! We will always seek out the most secluded camp spots, get the shits if someone pulls their boat up near ours and spend most of our free time either on our property or by t...he water. We live in Hervey Bay QLD and absolutely love it! We moved here nearly 7 years ago after a trip around Australia. We wanted to be as far North as we could without being in croc and cyclone territory! We have two boys who also love the outdoors. Currently they get home from school and head to the backyard to practice their casting! They are 6 and 3 and are just starting to reach that amazing age of independence where you actually get a touch of your own independence back too! (On the weekend we actually got to sit and have nibbles while watching them swim in the pool on their own!) I (Marleigh) also love cooking, eating, gardening, riding a quad bike, paddle boarding, I love heights and don't like spiders. Kip loves motorbikes, fishing, camping, hunting, collecting lures, watching Pickers and Meat Eater, and wants a bigger boat! (Written by Marleigh so may need to add to this list!)
