15.01.2022 Hey guys a few snaps from last week,Jeremy back up to fish some BBs,the spawning shrimp did the trick again

14.01.2022 Long time mate Peter Pakula, legendary lure maker and blue water fisherman joined us this week with a few of his mates to fish with the long wand. It was a great week with a lot of laughs and rhetoric. Cloud for the last couple of days unfortunately made the sight fishing impossible, just when the tides were perfect. This did change the program somewhat but there was still some great fish caught and some memories made!

14.01.2022 Hey guys a couple more snaps from last week with the boys

14.01.2022 Another great week with the Peter Wilson group, long time clients who enjoyed another fantastic weeks fishing.

13.01.2022 5 BB's over the last 2 days by Geoff Cole on a SWFW spawning shrimp. Scott K Sparnon One of the best BB patterns. Two days previous Geoff had never caught one but most fish he cast to really liked the SWFW shrimp and he now has a favourite fly for these fussy grubbers!

13.01.2022 The last charter for 2019 is now over. It was great spending this last week with George from Dynamic campers and his 2 twin sons. These boys can fish! I know that they will be hounding their dad over the next few months to bring them back next year. What an awesome place Weipa is for 2 x 14 year olds to hone their fishing skills. Mick Railz and his son Harry also joined the group and fished with Bargy for a few days catching heaps of different species, and I am sure Bargy will add a few more pics soon!

12.01.2022 Some of the beautiful places to come and see while you enjoy the great fishing we have to offer.

08.01.2022 Mick and Harry Rales from hervey bay last charter for 2019. We saw the good and bad, few quiet days but ended up last day over 60 bites landing about 40 on lures.

08.01.2022 Plenty of good threadys around at the moment. Great fun to catch and even better eating.

08.01.2022 Come book a trip with us and stay in the beautiful lodge, the food and view is to die for, and most of all the fishing is just incredible!

08.01.2022 Another week with a bunch of mad Kiwis. A few images from a fun week and should be more to come. All of these guys are raw novices and for most their first saltwater fly experience. Being kiwis they all grew up fly fishing for trout but now have progressed to the saltwater playground, which i am certain they will now continue with. It was a steep learning curve jumping from trout to tuna but these guys took it on the chin and enjoyed the whole experience and have vowed to return with more knowledge and certainly more clousers.

07.01.2022 To all our valued fishing client both past and present, especially clients that were booked to fish with us during April and May 2020. Cape York has now been closed to all non essential travel, both by aircraft and vehicle. This now means that for the near future you cannot get to us, therefore we cannot get you out doing what you love "fishing". Please bear with us in these difficult and uncertain times and once we know something we will be in touch and get you out fishing as soon as we are able. Stay safe and healthy! Those that require more information or wish to chat, you have my number on any emails you have received from me.

06.01.2022 Peter(windy)Wilson group otherwise known as (DWF) drinkers who fish, with yet another great week and some fine captures. Peter has been bringing groups fishing with me now for 19 years and has always had a good time with plenty of stories. Cant wait for next year!

04.01.2022 Hey guys a couple of snaps from Nicks first trip to weipa, plastics and jigs hit the mark on a few

04.01.2022 some more unreal flats fish caught up here in Weipa on fly. if your getting keen to get away and throw a fly rod on the flats or even a spin rod for a barra, Jump over and book some dates for this coming season.

01.01.2022 The last permit trip for the season with Tim Wallace and Brendan Ayers produced some challenging fly fishing. However we still managed to catch 7 permit from 11 hookups, breaking a couple off and pulling the hook on a couple. After the first 2 days cloud became an issue making sighting them difficult, so we spent time staking out flats that we knew we would see tailing fish. The plan worked and we managed to put a couple more in the boat. Great time with great guys who appreciate the awesome country of Cape York and already looking forward to the next time. Fly of the trip was a tie with Saltwaterfly workshops "Sparwolf" and Jonno Makims " Crab fly" accounting for the same number of fish.
