25.01.2022 M E N O P A U S E That dreaded M word that no woman ever wants to hear . Mine started with mood swings , night sweats, tired all the time and eventually changed my body composition making me soft, fluidy and stole my abs! ... A visit to the doctor last month confirmed it and slowly I think Im getting it under control .. Like any challenge, Ive tried to patient and listen to my body and adjust WITH it. I backed off training, changed my diet and basically just did what my body wanted me to do. Tbh its more a mental battle more than anything. When I look at pics like this of what I normally look like and how much Ive changed in a space of a few months, Ill be honest, I get upset. But like any challenge, I know Ill overcome it and with what I learn from it I can pass on and help other women transition! Age is just a number and Im going to continue to prove that #menopause #hormones #challenge #transition

If you cant appreciate the fact you were born into this world for a reason , dont find your purpose , dont take the time to see the beauty in everyone and everything around you, dont take the time to better yourself , You will never understand the true meaning of life.... Its not about winning, its not about how popular you are and its not about what you possess or how much money you have. Its about being the absolute BEST person you can be , firstly to yourself , and then to the ones you love, and finally to anyone who comes into your path , to guide and teach them how to do the same. Life is about GIVING, its about appreciating the air you breathe, the body that carries you through. The mind that keeps you strong , and the spirit that drives you forward. If youre reading this, KNOW that life is a wonderful thing, its not meant to be easy but its so worth it when you start to realise just how precious it really is This picture reminds me of when i believed in all of that, i was so sick for 3 solid weeks out of a 6 week prep , i did eight to my body and rested , i kept my mind in check and knew that listening to my body would get me there. My mind was always strong and my spirit drove me because i promised myself and others id be there. And i was. I backed myself 100% with knowing, nothing can hold me back.
