13.01.2022 Current selfie = softer, heavier, but healthy enough. Pre covid I was a fitness instructor and massage therapist for 9 years,,, right now Im a hospital cleaner and proud of it. I got into fitness to fight old injuries, a family history of weight related health problems and depression... ... Right now Im fighting Covid for the community... Without fitness in my life, I probably wouldnt have life. This was my first weights workout in months,,, Im 4kg heavier than I was at the start of covid, and a lot softer! But my focus has been on mental health and "getting thru 2020" . I hate the feeling of my gym being empty, it fills me with sadness. I miss my clients, they are my substitute family, they are my friends. I am like everyone else, doing the best I can with what we have right now. Dont over stress on little things, do what you need to do to get thru, and well all be able to workout together again soon. Peace love and health Chelle

12.01.2022 For those who are still pushing that they need remedial massage - if you have a prescribed and written care plan that involves Remedial Massage then you are allowed to get treatment. All other massage is off - if you know of people breaking the rules please report them as they are risking everyones health and well-being. "At approximately midnight last night, the Department of Health Victoria released their updated list of Permitted Work Premises for the purposes of the... Restricted Activity Directions for metropolitan Melbourne under stage 4 restrictions. Regarding health workers, the document states the following: All AHPRA registered health workers and in addition, social work, speech pathology, dietetics and any other health worker required to fulfil a care plan endorsed by NDIS, TAC, Workcover or DVA to provide services that prevent a significant change/deterioration in functional independence necessitating escalation of care (e.g. a requirement for specialist input/review, an increase in care needs and/or alternate accommodation, avoiding a hospital admission or emergency department presentation). The upshot is that unless your client has a medically endorsed care plan, and if their presentation/condition is considered critical then you are not permitted to treat them face to face at this time. I'm sorry the whole online thing didn't work out for us, I'm sorry I ploughed myself into other things while waiting for fitness to be allowed open again, only to have it open as soon as I was stuck in a contract... things are still up in the air, I cannot make a decision till late January about classes, but massage cont...inues, now with masks again.... Anyway, I miss you all, I miss the lovely lifestyle I had, I miss your chats while we worked out, the complaints lol, the laughter, I miss the laughter the most and the friendship you have me....
