24.01.2022 With Christmas fast approaching we are kindly asking friends and family to come together to help make this year special for our residents. If you would like your loved one to have their room decorated this year, please bring in decorations labelled with the residents name by the 30th November 2020. We are unfortunately unable to put anything up that requires electricity so please only bring in decorations that don't require any power and/or battery powered lights etc. This ...year we will also be accepting donations of Christmas decorations, if you wish to donate please see us at reception. - The Fitzgerald Aged Care Team

23.01.2022 Laughter filled the facility this afternoon with our residents and staff letting their hair down (or up and coloured in this instance) for a fun, Fitzgerald crazy hair day. We were happy to see so many people getting involved, especially our male residents and staff who participated and were great sports. 18.01.2022 What a great day with excellent golf being played in yesterday's Ladies Top Gun Final. It was great to see such fantastic sportsmanship and support for all the players. Congratulations to our Top Gun Winner, Vicki Hall (pictured) and to all golfers who competed yesterday.

Our new little garden patch has been thriving over the past few weeks due to the watchful eye of our Grounds keeper Stephen, and all of the long overduer rain we have been lucky to have. 12.01.2022 Caitlin has been volunteering at Fitzgerald Aged Care since October 2019. Throughout her time here she has built many great relationships with our residents, so much so that she has now become part of our Fitzgerald Aged Care Family. We were honored and so proud to be able to see Caitlin on the day of her formal so we could not only see how beautiful she looked, but to send her off with a cheer to her special night. 02.01.2022 Save the Date! Fitzgerald Aged Care's finished mosaic circle will be unveiled alongside it's three counterparts on the 26th of November 2020 starting at 9:30am. The Mosaic pieces are going to be installed on a wall outside the Gallery/Library in Windsor. (more details to come) ... About the project: The mosaic comprises four circles that reflect the local area, with the river as a central, linking motif and a patchwork of fields surrounding it. 57 people completed a total of 68 sections that were then slotted into place within the circles. All the pieces make a whole, and the whole is more than the sum of its parts. This is our community, full of individual stories of real lives and when we connect with each other, great things happen. Lead by Marion Shapiro, local mosaic artist, and funded by Hawkesbury City Council, the artwork has provided a wonderful opportunity for our community to reconnect. We are asking members of our Fitzgerald Family to come join us in support of our residents and to help us celebrate the completion of this amazing project.
