20.01.2022 From Saturday, 5 December 2020, West Australians will be required to check-in when entering most public venues such as food and licenced venues (restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, taverns, nightclubs), visitor centres, galleries, museums to name a few. The aim is to help improve WA Department of Health's contact tracing capabilities and it will be a mandatory requirement for affected businesses and venues to maintain a contact register for staff and patrons. To find out more a...nd to see the full list of businesses and venues affected please visit www.wa.gov.au To help businesses and venues streamline the contact register process the WA Government has developed an online system through the free #SafeWA app which uses QR codes to provide a simple, contactless digital #Covid19 register. Businesses will still be required to provide the option of a written contact register for people who do not have a smart phone or choose not to use the app. To avoid potential delays and lengthy queues signing numerous registers as you #wanderoutyonder, visitors may wish to download the app to their smartphones from the Apple App Store or Google Play before travelling.

10.01.2022 TOTAL FIRE BAN Due to fire weather conditions forecast for Tuesday, 24 November 2020, DFES has declared a Total Fire Ban for the Shire of Ravensthorpe. This means that you're banned from lighting, maintaining or using a fire in the open air, or carry out any activity that could start a fire.... This includes lighting a campfire, using a welder, grinder or incinerator, conducting a burn-off, burning leaves and garden waste, firing up a wood or charcoal BBQ, using a wood-fired pizza oven, driving a vehicle (including dune buggy and quad bikes) off-road and more.
