25.01.2022 Club members are requested to inform Ray Thompson of their intent to play or not at Kooralbyn on 28/6/20 by Monday 22/6/20 so that we may advise Kooralbyn of numbers.

25.01.2022 Members our first club game for 2020 will at Riverlakes (7:30 Tee be there by 7:00am). Following the game, the presentation will be conducted at our Home Base Fitzys Waterford. Lunch will be provided at the pub via the Aussie Day BBQ that is being conducted. Of recent times our Club has joined Fitzys to celebrate Australia Day and raised funds for various charities. This year Fitzys are a conducting a Best Mullet Comp together with Fun with Chicko Rolls and other c...ontests. We will be running 15 Meat Tray raffles, playing Putt for a Pot, and Chucking Darts for Cash. The event will be a great start to our year with our ongoing charitable endeavours. 21.01.2022 RIP Darcy It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of our much loved and respected member Darcy McKenzie. Darcy passed away peacefully last night, at the St. Vincents Hospital, he is survived by his wife Carolyn and his immediate family including his sons and past members, Dale and Geoff. Darcy was one of the founding members of the club and was inducted as a life member some years ago. Darcy was always involved in the clubs activities serving on the committe...e for many years , active in fund raising and organising events for the betterment of the golf club,a good player on his day and a good sportsman. More importantly a family man who served his country in Viet Nam ,a friend to all that knew him and, a gentleman. On behalf of all club members we extend our condolences to Carol, his immediate family, brother Toby and the extended McKenzie family. May he rest in peace. 19.01.2022 Hi members I have just been in contact with Mt Warren and have been told as long as we dont get another big rain episode like last week this Sundays game will be fine to go ahead .. they have opened the whole coarse with carts from today again ... Please remember the AGM is on this week after the game back at the pub ... Steve would have sent out all meeting agendas and committee reports with the last couple of newsletters so have a read before Sundays meeting Also new shirts are almost finalised ready for ordering so this week I will taking sizes from members for 1 x shirt that will be supplied by club if you require another shirt you will have to pay the $30 upfront for the shirt and Im happy to order a second shirt for you... shirt sizes are from XS - 5XL Thanks Brenden

19.01.2022 Hello Members,please be advised that the funeral service for our late member Darcy Mckenzie will be held at the Eco Memorial Park 21 Quinns Hill Rd. Stapylton on Thursday 5th September commencing 2.00 PM then followed by a wake at Fitzys Waterford Hotel. Members attending are requested to wear the club shirt. Regards Stephen Clamp

18.01.2022 Hi members Just a update on this weeks round at Wolston park I have spoken to pro shop and they have informed me that unless we get a massive amount of heavy rain the coarse will be open on Sunday as it is draining well .... for the older members who dont like walking the pro shop has stated that if the coarse is open carts are allowed on coarse ...... no carts on coarse means coarse is closed fully .... I will check again tomorrow and supply a further update late Saturday afternoon
