While it is sad to say bye to one of the most fun, challenging, different and growing times in my life, it’s also super exciting to move on to the next chapter in starting a career & becoming a dad. 10.01.2022 Well I woke up this morning & realised that I’m unemployed (at least for a couple of weeks). Over the last 3.5 years I have learnt so much about running a business but more importantly about what make me tick and how much support I have from those around me. I quickly realised that without the support of others everything is just harder. So thanks to everyone that came to the van and bought a toastie or just had a chat. Thanks to everyone that liked or commented on posts (...especially all those awesome messages of support when we announced we were closing). Thanks to event organisers and businesses that reached out to us or gave us space to trade. Special thanks to @oceangrind and the awesome team (@sophina___ @kaylafordd & @kategear thanks for XLT Thursday’s) there who have provided me a constant space (and caffeine) almost since we started. And lastly to my Family & Friends, all of who would have experienced sub-optimal Nick at least once over the last 3.5 years. Sorry about that and I hope the Reubens help outweigh that. But no-one copped more of the shitty moods or stressed conversations than my number one supporter, @laura_walsh19 Thank you so much for your support over the time in everything I did, from starting the van to deciding to close it. I know that I can be frustrating to live with but hopefully I will become a little more bearable. Love you. Anyway, cheers again & hope everyone enjoyed the ride as much as I did.
