23.01.2022 Hey guys, long post incoming but I just want to lay out our COVID protocols before we get back to training this week. I’ll give you the short before the long. 21.01.2022 In news hot off the press - Jeremy Little has been appointed as Club Captain/Coach for the 20/21 season. Jez is looking forward to the challenge ahead, and can't wait to get started. We'll hear from Jez about his plans for the season in the near future. Congratulations on your appointment. Our first training session under Jez has been locked and loaded for next Thursday November 5th, between 6.00-8.00 p.m. Don't miss out, and remember PAY NOW TO PLAY. Season starts in a few weeks.

21.01.2022 Christmas Message From Your President Whilst 2020 presented our world with significant challenges our little cricket community has survived and is prospering. It is pleasing to see positives in all of our programs and in particular our senior men’s teams who are all enjoying on field success. We are also excited by the improvements in our ladies team as a result of their work ethic and commitment in the nets and we expect to see them turning this into wins on their return ...from the Christmas break. Our Junior program continues to prosper with teams in under 16s, 12s and 10s. We also have young men from the 16s playing senior cricket who are already influencing senior games for the benefit of the Gulls. As a result of COVID our Woolworths Blast program will not commence until the New Year but registrations are strong and we look forward to seeing our future Gulls on Walter St building on their skills and passion for the game and our club. Finally, on behalf of your committee we thank you for your continued support and wish you and your families a very safe and merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Neil Welsh President

12.01.2022 The Gulls women’s team enjoyed its first game of the season but didn’t quite take home the chocolates over the weekend, with Marby winning by 5 wickets. Caitie says new players did well with bat and ball. Well done.

08.01.2022 The Gulls enjoyed 2 wins out of 2 today. The ones dismissed Emerald Hill for 108. Stu Taylor took 4 wickets, ably supported by Matt Taylor with 3 and Dan Gibbs 2. First over strike man, Charlie did it again with another wicket off his first ball. Leading the run charge was Phil Congues who was superb with 56no and Jacko looked very comfortable scoring 28no. This ones team looks the goods - and a big year is predicted! The twos bounced back with a strong 6 wicket victory over ...Indigos. The wickets were shared evenly, with Matt Mallia, Ted, Raj and Will all taking 2 wickets. Steve Dessman was the star, hitting a superb 61no, as the Gulls passed Indigos with the loss of only 4 wickets. It's up to the 3's and the Gulls women tomorrow to secure a clean sweep for the senior club. See more
