21.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came down to our family day on Sunday. How lucky were we with the weather! It was great to see so many new faces at the club enjoying the newly renovated clubrooms thanks to the City of Melbourne and the recently installed outdoor "container" area. We were delighted to welcome several sponsors, including our major sponsor, Nelson Alexander Flemington.

21.01.2022 Ceilings are in and the painters were there today. The renovations are not far from being finished! And there was a Bunnings run this morning to buy a few things for the new-look main bar that will be revealed in due course

20.01.2022 Dear members and friends, Licensing police have today advised the club directly that we are only able to offer table service, not bar service. Breaches risk a $10,000 fine. Unfortunately, this contradicts what the Department of Health and Human Services told us verbally last week. Police are aware that many licensed premises are not adhering to this restriction and are doing spot checks. We're currently working through what this advice means for buying drinks at the club. Thanks in advance for your co-operation and understanding that it may take a bit longer to get a drink until these restrictions are eased.

13.01.2022 The club is looking a bit worse for wear as our landlord, the City of Melbourne council, continues remediation works to the floor, ceiling and electrics. Some of the work will need to wait until Stage 4 is rolled back, but we will be back bigger and better as soon as we're able! Until then, please take care.

12.01.2022 Today we had the club singles championship between Michael Westgarth and Scott Wise. Michael got out to a big lead early which started to get reeled in by Scott, however some great late bowls delivered Mr. Westgarth his first club singles championship. Well done to both bowlers

09.01.2022 We're pretty excited that work has continued around the club. Floors are being replaced due to termite damage and we even have a cluster of three flagpoles now! When the floors are finished, the electricians will be back to fit the lighting then the rest of the new ceilings will be installed. Finally, the place will get a lick of paint and the club will look as good as it has in many, many years! We can't wait to have all our members and friends back.... Until then, stay safe. See more

05.01.2022 Sixty years ago today, a much younger Les Delaney joined Flem-Ken. He's stuck with the club through thick and thin. He's a true stalwart of the club and we thank him for his years of service as a bowler, his always-smiling face and that wicked sense of humour. Happy anniversary, Les!

03.01.2022 Premiers AND runners-up! Flem-Ken Gold took the night pennant flag from Flem-Ken Maroon. The final was due to be played in March but was delayed almost eight months. Congratulations to Phil Symons, Colin Symes and Jane Arthur, and Oliver Warren, Nolan Ramage and Danny Grasso.
