25.01.2022 What an amazing night we had at Middleton last night at the Black Tie & Boardies Ball organised by Jen and Mark Watts and the Middleton Town & Foreshore Committee. Proceeds close to $22,000 from this fabulous event have been raised for FCSF and we appreciate the commitment, hard work and supreme organisation it took to make this such an incredible amount and totally enjoyable evening.
25.01.2022 We are sorry to advise that our last Bingo session at the Hotel Crown for 2020 will be THIS THURSDAY 15th October. We will be back after an extended break on 25th February 2021 so mark the date to come back then.
24.01.2022 So many people to thank for assisting in fundraising for Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation but a special mention has to be given to Lisa Jamieson and Sue Gasmier who organised two Melbourne Cup events today under the Boulevard Cafe banner. That’s right, they organised both events at the Boulevard Cafe as well as at the Roos Club. Fabulous food, wonderful prizes donated by many people for raffles, door prizes, lucky seat, best hat and best dressed for both male and female. ...At the Roos Club we were privileged to have Sylvia and her team from Taking Shape present a parade of stunning outfits. I also had a call this afternoon from Lyn Wenman advising that the Port Elliot Bowling Club had held a Cup day function and would be donating proceeds to FCSF. Well done to all concerned and from Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation...a VERY BIG THANK YOU See more

08.01.2022 FCSF will be cooking for you tomorrow (3rd October) at the Bunnings BBQ Victor Harbor. Should be a fantastic day for popping in for a snag so hope to see you there. Many thanks to Margaret Reimann, Sylvia Jemson-Ledger from Elders, Veg out and Victor Ice for donating to our fundraiser.
04.01.2022 Early this year a hugely successful inaugural Black Tie & Boardies Ball was held at the Middleton Pioneer Hall and raised over $40,000 for the Kangaroo Island bushfires. 2020 is a year that we all want to forget with COVID and we ’re all praying we don’t have a repeat of last summer’s disastrous fires. However we all still want to have fun, and to that end, the Middleton Town & Foreshore Association is hosting number 2, Black Tie & Boardies Ball on Friday 22 January 2021, 7p...m at the Middleton Pioneer Hall. This event will only be able to cater for reduced numbers but they are still hoping to raise $10,000 for our very own Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation. Those attending the inaugural Black Tie & Boardies all had a fantastic time and will no doubt want to attend again so don’t miss out PLEASE BOOK YOUR TICKETS NOW! Check out the attached poster and SHARE THIS EMAIL with your friends. At this stage in Covid-times, we’re limited to 150 people plus staff, so get in fast and book your tickets now. $50 includes music with the FLAMING SAMBUCCAS, pizza, burger and a pav, with the chance to buy great wines, treat yourself to a silent auction goodie, or win a raffle prize. (And if you can help with prizes or auction items, please contact Jen Watts on 0417 812 529 or email [email protected]) Bookings here: https://www.trybooking.com/BNFSP Should be a fun night look forward to seeing you there.
04.01.2022 Plenty happening over the next week or so for Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation. Tickets can still be purchased at the Boulevard for the Melbourne Cup lunch to be held at The Roos Club on 3rd November and on 7th November Mud N Tars will hold their annual Poker Run raising funds for FCSF. Keep an eye out for our Craft Group selling craft, plants and odds and ends at upcoming Ocean Street markets while our Womens Support Group are preparing to sell tickets for their raffle at VH Farmers market. Thanks to those who are organising and sponsoring these events. Phone FCSF office 8552 9304 for further information.
