21.01.2022 Lets put Australia on the map The annual Navigraph survey iss open from 20th November to 2nd December. Like previous years, this survey has an emphasis on the major flight simulators such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Lockeed Martin Prepar3D and Laminar Research X-Plane, but now also includes questions about simulators on mobile devices, combat simulators, and helicopter simulation. Furthermore, the survey has in depth questions regarding Virtual Reality and also goes furth...er into investigating the users choices when selecting aircraft and scenery addons. 19.01.2022 PC Aviator Closure Update PC Aviator Update PCA will be closing down its Australian store. The reason being, Robert Ferraro from the US office says, "it seems that the marketplace there has dwindled over the past years and not enough business to justify staying open. However, The Australian store will still be operating and the domain will be back up in 48 hours. It will be up so customers can retrieve previous orders. A media release from PCA will be out shortly.

12.01.2022 Latest Member on the Register Latest member to the Register of Australian Virtual Pilots and Cockpit Builders is JoeT. Joe is new to flight simulation and absolutely loving his X-Plane 11 sim. His preferred set up is VR and is currently upgrading his total PC set-up and VR unit to be the best that's available for the best immersion experience. He would love to learn to fly with a group. Currently he is exploring Australia by air flying up the east coast in his Baron 58. A reminder that the purpose of this register is to provide the opportunity for flight sim enthusiasts to make contact with each other and perhaps form cluster groups for offline interaction.

06.01.2022 PC Aviator Australia Closes It seems that yet another Australian outlet for flight sim products has closed down. Regular newsletters from PCA have not been received for some time and the website has now closed down. I have contacted the parent office in the USA for confirmation and whether there will be provision for those who have recently ordered and purchased products that have not yet been received, No comment at this stage. More information will be provided as it comes to hand. We hope all is well for Dean who ran the Australian outlet as a result of this event. We thank Dean for his service to the Aussie flight sim community.
