05.01.2022 Swarms are still on the move! Break time and Tony found a swarm on our lawn in-between our house and the sheds. This swarm will be off to a friends Flow Hive. His bees absconded in early Spring. Why do bees swarm - it's part of their natural reproductive life cycle. They are stimulated to swarm during Spring when warmer weather and more nectar/pollen are available. These ideal conditions prompt the colony to increase rapidly.
