14.01.2022 PRE ORDER ISSUE 4 NOW flocreativeevents.bandcamp.com ! Flo Creative Events is a not for profit organisation founded by female creatives Shan Primrose and Maddy Herbert (also known as @shanprimroseart and @velvetbloom.music). Shan and Maddy both grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, and bonded through their love for creativity, charity and community. Flo came into fruition after they hosted an art and music event in May 2017 at @bahatacos (RIP) and fell in love with prom...oting and supporting the diversity of emerging artists, musicians and small businesses on the Peninsula. After hosting many local events, they decided to expand to Melbourne and create a hard copy magazine to show off the incredible creatives that exist in both communities. Fast forward almost four years and they have hosted 7 events, raised over $6000 for important charities and organisations including @antar_national, @aimementoring, @sister2sister_program, @nswrfs, @qld_fes, @headspace_aus and the Re-Flo Artist fund (a charity set up by Flo to give back to the artists in our last magazine - we gave back $887 in total). 2020 has been an extremely difficult time for both Shan and Maddy, and we are so happy to be able to end the year on a positive note with Issue #4.
