I want to give you an insight on wedding flowers and why you may be thinking ‘why do wedding flowers cost so much?’ I often hear ‘they are only flowers and they will die’. Even though they will eventually die, they will make an everlasting impression in your memories and in your wedding photos. ... There’s so much more that goes into it than most people think! Here’s what goes into your wedding quote: Early starts and VERY long hours The cost and time of keeping flowers fresh, some flowers need to be kept cool while others like warmer temperatures. Clean water and sleepness nights as we want the flowers to be at their optimal and looking perfect! We want all the flowers to be looking their best, and if they are not we need to make another order which is more cost and extra freight charges to us. Days of prepping, cutting, snipping and spraying flowers The time taken to design and create arrangements Time travelling to and from ceremony and reception venues Time installing and setting up flowers at the venue Travel to the bridal party to deliver bouquets Delivery to the groomsmen for their boutonnières Pulling a team together to make it all happen and there is no such thing as weekend rates!! This doesn’t account for the time taken discussing the wedding vision with the bride, the time taken to produce quotes, researching what flowers are in season and available, negotiating with the flower market and growers on availability and pricing. And yes we do need to make a little margin too, as much as we LOVE what we do and wish to make your wedding as beautiful as possible, we do need to make money just like any other employee. Bridal flowers may also come across expensive as I think brides underestimate exactly how many flowers are in a bouquet ~ this isn’t an everyday bunch, this is a bouquet that has been created properly which has taken a lot of time and creativity. By the time your wedding bouquet is in your hands as you now know it has had so much time and thought put into it. To make sure we are all on the same page and to save a lot of time, effort and disappointment ~ be honest with your budget if you have one from the get-go. And if you are unsure of what your flower budget is, simply ask what can I get for x amount, or on average how much is a bouquet for this kind of style. 13.01.2022 The Ceduna Racing Club would like to advise everyone that we are monitoring the Current Covid situation very closely and we are in constant contact with Thoroug...hbred Racing SA (TRSA). We have been advised to hold off making a decision about whether we go ahead with the XMAS Races on Sat 5th of December until tomorrow evening (Wed 19th Nov) when things are made clearer by SA Health. Currently, crowds are not allowed at any Races in SA as from last night in line with the current 2 week Covid restrictions introduced by the SA Government yesterday, which will finish on the Tuesday before our races. However, we have been advised that any future extension of that restriction is likely to be determined based on how far the current Covid cluster in Adelaide extends over the next couple of days. We would like to reassure everyone that if the XMAS races are cancelled, then the Ticketebo website (as part of their conditions of use) will do an automatic refund onto the Card you used to book your tickets. As soon as get the best advice available, we will be immediately updating everyone through our facebook page. This is an extremely unfortunate situation and we would ask for everyone's patience and understanding.
