I have had 2 near death experiences. One a major asthma attack and the other a bowel problem which entailed emergency surgery and 3 months off work. Both times I went to hospital my loved ones were told I might not make it. 10 years ago my friend asked me along to this new hot yoga thing. I was in for anything after being a gym junkie for 25 years my knees were shot and I was unable to do anything high impact. I couldn’t walk more than 10 steps without having to stop and stretch. After the first 3 classes I was hooked. I felt so amazing after the class. After speaking to other students about the healing they had found both mentally and physically I decided to take a leap of faith in 2010 at the age of 47 to travel to LA to attend Bikram Yoga Training for 9 incredible weeks that nearly broke me. Away for home for 3 months was tough missing my husband and dog Jack but it was the most amazing life changing experience of my life. I continue to be passionate about the yoga journey and never ever not trust the process. Practicing and least 3 times a week and teaching with love and understanding I love my students and hearing and celebrating their milestones. Yoga is my life. It has healed me not just physically but mentally. Let it do the same for you, you will never regret it.
