As busy parents it can be hard to find time to do a full workout so here are a few ideas of exercises you can do throughout your day for 5 minutes or under! . . 1. Wall sit - sit with back against the wall with knees at 90 degrees to the ground. Keep back and shoulders flat against the wall. Hold for as long as you can. . . 2. Plank holds - hold a normal plank for as long as you can and then rotate to your side . Continue to rotate once fatigued for as long as you can! If you need a break, take one and then continue on :) . . 3. Set yourself a target with ANY exercise throughout the day and try complete it. It could be 50 pushups, 100 squats, 300 abs - whatever your goal is just get to your target throughout your day. For example; While you’re doing the dishes drop for 20 squats. I'm so far behind on my #WhatsYourGold posts but I have a new one below. But, before we get there here is one more image from the Skateboarding shoot in LA. This one I got down on the bottom of the bowl and caught him as he was coming around on top. I think the minimalism of the background is what I love about this image. This is the last from the series but I have more coming next week! ----- I have been absolutely terrible the last couple of weeks about doing my #WhatsYourGold posts. I got bogged down with a lot of other work but this is a perfect time to talk about the next part of the campaign: Failure. "In order to succeed you must first be willing to experience failure." Over the past couple of years I can't tell you how many times I've failed. The photography industry is pretty much a revolving door of no's with a glimmer of hope every now and then. But, each missed job or bad meeting just makes me hungrier to work harder. If you guys remember back at the beginning of March I told you my personal goal for this challenge. I wanted to be nominated as PDNs Top 30 emerging Photographers. Well, last year I made it into the selection process. I submitted a gallery and answered a bunch of questions and then I waited. A couple months later I received an email saying that I didn't get it this year and that only fueled the fire!
