16.01.2022 Google Chrome will soon be removing adblocking functionality unless you're an enterprise (paid) user. Firefox is our chosen alternative while running the uBlock Origin adblock module (in addition to firefox inbuilt ad blocking)

14.01.2022 There is so many things wrong with this article and yet here it is in black and white for every joe blow to read. Amusing at best.

14.01.2022 Excellent article below, no matter which way you try to explain it. Costs+Urgency always seem to outweigh proper planning. This isn't just isolated to the IT industry but it seems to be more prevalent due to the work being 'unseen'. For example, you would never have someone approach constructing a building/house without a plan and proper scope of works.

13.01.2022 Today is World Password day, with everyone so concerned about privacy recently. Its safe to say almost those very same people have simple passwords because "its easy". Check out the top 6 risky online behaviours making you a target. We use and recommend lastpass for all our password management requirements. While you dont have to use Lastpass, NOT using a password manager is even worse. Check out the top 6 items below.

12.01.2022 Timely reminder, doesn't matter how big you are - outages can still occur.

12.01.2022 ZERO-DAY vulnerability discovered in Skype. Patch Immediately!

11.01.2022 Definitely not something new, and a lot of people are or were already using google's dns 8.8.8.8, with our preliminary testing lookups were significantly faster using 1.1.1.1 as a dns resolver on cloudflares service. Where milliseconds count, this is a valuable modification.

11.01.2022 Microsoft currently experiencing major outage affecting Outlook/O365 services, lot of people unable to login / check / send email. For those of you using O365/Microsoft services keep updated via : https://status.office.com/

09.01.2022 The past few months has seen an increase in discussion re: apps / tracking information and people being genuinely concerned that "big brother" is wanting to track their every move. While everyone turns a blind eye to their day to day apps, apples new ios update proves their concerns are misplaced.

07.01.2022 Ok COVIDSafe app is out - Should you install it? I'm not your mum - make your own decision. For those who care, xssfox has decompiled it, the code wasnt obfuscated at all. What's that mean? Which for a govt app is saying something. It means they're not trying to hide anything, anyone can read the code.... Long story short - There is NO location tracking on it, it runs on bluetooth. DeviceID is uploaded and used for identification in the system Data cant be used by anyone outside of covid - read the legislation, i'll put that in the first comment. Conclusion :: You most likely run a lot more apps on your phone/computer right now that send a tonne more data that you have no idea about. This app looks the goods, they've done well. Decompile/twitter link in comments.

07.01.2022 Everyone has seen or been approached by friends on facebook in relation to the new payment system "Initiative Q", while there is no substance behind it yet and people are signing up in droves, just remember one thing. Good practice when signing up to this or anything online you should always use unique email addresses. Dont use your primary address, hopefully your email provider allows it, good practice [email protected] means you will know if they sell your information or if its been hacked if you start to get flooded by emails from 3rd parties. This is excellent practice for anywhere you sign up and the emails all arrive in your main inbox.

06.01.2022 If you haven't updated or heard about this yet (living under a rock perhaps) read this and take preventative measures now. As with all things, if you dont know the link / email / attachment / website DONT CLICK ON IT.

02.01.2022 Notice : For those who use gmail / any google services - Google is currently experiencing a global outage across a variety of their services. Gmail / Drive / Meet / Keep / Docs all currently affected.

02.01.2022 There is some merit to this, but anyone who uses any instance of social media and doesn't employ the Two-Factor authentication available to stop things like this need to review their security settings. You don't leave your house unlocked at night, you also need to protect your social media accounts.

02.01.2022 WanaKiwi Decrypt #WannaCry ransomware files without paying ransom (works on Windows XP, 7, Vista, 2003, 2008 if you're lucky) #ransomware
