13.01.2022 Guys, myself and Bane Macarbe, from the Liberal Democrat party came up with the idea of a Paddy's day function whilst on the beer yesterday afternoon. The idea ...is that half the proceeds will go to party funds and half to the Queensland Irish Welfare Association.( I'll give Paddy from the Association a call in a day or so). I'm thinking of approaching Tiger Eye (as all the Irish pubs will be jammed packed), and the food is always reasonably priced and of good quality and the owner/manager is a good mate. I'm trying to work out a good date because you can't hire a good Irish singer for love or money on the 17th. Help and suggestions would be welcome. See more

Our world is facing challenges on multiple fronts and existing ways and systems are being reassessed. Words and music can help us to reimagine and in the vital task to conjure a different future. Hosted by musical theatre star Amy Lehpamer, this one time only concert features writer/actor/singer Steven Oliver, members of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata and Queensland Ballet, Opera Queensland’s Rosario La Spina and Rebecca Cassidy, Southern Cross Soloists’ Alex Raineri, Irish folk quartet Sasta, musical theatre stars Alex Woodward and Shubshri Kandiah, contemporary music artists Robbie Miller and Tom Thum, the inimitable Katie Noonan, and the QPAC Chamber Choir led by Choirmaster Tim Sherlock.
