24.01.2022 Family Medical Centre KURRI KURRI is seeking a motivated and skilled RN to join our practice. We are looking for someone to work Wednesday and Thursdays and to cover sick/annual leave for our other part time nurse. We are a busy practice with both male and female GP’s. 21.01.2022 Family medical centre KURRI KURRI is looking for a casual medical receptionist to join our team of 3 doctors, a practice nurse and 2 receptionists. This is a casual position 2-3 days per week with sick and annual leave cover needed from time to time. Shifts start as early as 8:30am and finish at 7:30pm. 04.01.2022 NEW DOCTOR! Dr Kumar, one of the business partners started to work in Family Medical center from 20 April 2020 for a long term. Dr Kumar graduated from India in 1998. He has completed his Basic Surgical training in UK, Worked in Emergency department in Calvary Mater hospital and physician training for 6 years in John Hunter hospital. He started to work as country GP in Singleton since 2012 and Visiting Medical Officer at Singleton District Hospital.... Along with country general practice, his interests are chronic disease management, such as diabetes, heart failure, stroke and palliative care. Also, he is interested in skin cancer management including advanced skin surgical procedures and complete family planning services including MTOP. The Yarn Up Feel Deadly app is a culturally considerate r...esource, with a particular focus on Aboriginal communities, connecting them to mental health services as well to each other by learning from their lived experience. The app includes The Warrior Within video testimonials which are of Aboriginal and non- Aboriginal Yarning about identity, culture, wellbeing, their mental health experiences, and what to expect as a client of the service. The testimonials also put a name to a face of people who work in mental health. There is also information about the mental health service, links to useful websites and local community events. The app is available to download for free on both android and apple devices in Google Play or the App Store.
