19.01.2022 This year my son wanted to play basketball, he has never played apart from having a shoot around on a Thursday night watching me play old man basketball....I enrolled him to play and was asked to coach, at the the time my thoughts were what the fuck do I know about coaching a kids team. This team of kids never give up, at times this season they have been beaten by teams by 60 points....they feel everything emotionally, they have grown not just individually but as a team, most... of the kids you see here had never played a game of basketball before this season. We aren’t the most skilful but they have more heart than any coach could ever wish for. The difference is these kids win or lose still high five each other for every little win, each rebound, each steal, every point. I’d rather coach this team of kids than any other, they have made me fall back in love with the sport I grew up with.
19.01.2022 Something you don’t see everyday in the wild let alone at the Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas, a night tiger snake that had snuck its way from outside the park into one of the enclosures.....I mean who can blame it, the Rainforest Walk in this park is nothing short of breathtaking. Oh and the Rainbow Lorikeets were the most inquisitive, constantly making sure everyone knew the snake was there.
18.01.2022 The best thing about working for a food company is getting to try all of the food.......today it’s a porcini and truffle along with a bolognese arancini balls in our pasta sauce with parmesan cheese and basil from the garden.....so if you are a restaurant or cafe that would like to see this on your menu shoot me through a message so I can come and cook these for you and you can see how good they are for yourself

16.01.2022 Throwback to the greatest dessert in Explore Tropical North Queensland at BUKO Mission Beach the Buko bar is something that has to be eaten to be believed, the bar (which the contents you won’t find out) with choc soil, meringue and lemon foam is so do yourself a favour and just go there and you won’t be sorry
16.01.2022 You can stick your Mc Chicken, your colonel sanders, your red rooter and jacks....these homemade chicken burgers are the fucking bomb, freshly crumbed with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, black pepper cheese from Gallo Dairyland with mayo and tomato sauce and homemade chips makes me a happy man....this isolation is making me isofat oh and let’s not forget the cheap wine lol

15.01.2022 Still the best burgers right now in the Far North.... N 17 Burger Co. Port Douglas the Hawaiian Burger was sooooo the pulled pork, grilled pineapple was bloody sensational and I wish you’d open up here in Cairns (hint hint)
