25.01.2022 IN THE SAME MONTH AS THE FPE REBRAND, A SIT DOWN WITH FPE's FOUNDER BRIAN CAREY WAS IN ORDER. "I got into the meat industry because my father was in the industry. 20.01.2022 For this week's #MeetTheTeam, we thought we'd introduce you to Service Technician, Brent - a valuable member of our incredible team from across the Tasman. "My main role at FPE is servicing our processing equipment, primarily in the meat processing industry. I have been in the mechanical servicing industry for 27 years and have experience in a wide range of processing equipment. I enjoy the satisfaction I bring to our customers; being able to give them advice through fault fi...nding and servicing as well as genuine can-do attitude. I treat our customers as I would my friends with respect and honesty. I support most meat works in New Zealand and other food processing plants throughout the country. I enjoy travelling and meeting new people. Out of work hours I like to hang out with friends, have dinner parties usually involving lots of alcohol and good music, fishing and playing with cars. I have recently purchased my first home so am excited about making it my home and DIY-ing."

We invite you to learn more about all the industry leading brands and products we carry, check out our impressive new Resource Centre where we will keep bringing you up to date news and insights, plu...s we want you to learn more about us as a company too. Although we weren't able to predict the state of the world when we started this rebrand process last year, we're incredibly happy that we were able to go through with it. And while we have a fun new look, we want you to know that our commitment to you, our customers, remains the same. We will always strive to bring you the best food processing equipment the industry has to offer. All with a friendly smile and service too, of course.

17.01.2022 You might remember that our Administration Manager, Linda Walker, celebrated 25 years with FPE earlier this year. After all this time, it's still about putting our customers - and our team - first, she tells us in today's #MeetTheTeam. After 25 years, I value the meaning of teamwork and people who like to get the job done. In admin you always have to be customer focused, so to me it is important that our customers have a positive experience with FPE. But my focus extends to our internal team as well - I enjoy helping them be the best they can be, and knowing that I've helped them with their own great experiences with FPE.

17.01.2022 Here at FPE, we’ve been lucky enough to keep quite busy during the first half of the year. It was business as usual - with some extra hand washing and sanitisation - when it came to helping out our customers with servicing and new equipment. But we’ve also been working on something really exciting internally. It’s been over a year in the making, and we’re so excited that we can almost share it with you! Stay tuned...

14.01.2022 Next up in our #MeetTheTeam series is our Service Manager, Andrew Dawes. Originally from the UK, I am a qualified electrician who came to FPE from the weighing industry where I was the State Manager for a national company for 6 years. Now I manage FPE's service and installations, and enjoy assisting our customers with all things service and parts. No two days are ever the same and the challenges and opportunities keep on coming. I always strive to be my best in all I do. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and strolling the wonderful coastline with our dog, Wilson.

This September marks 6 years since the launch event of our collaboration with the JLF, and we hope that we're inching closer towards a world where bowel cancer will no longer cause pain, suffering and take our loved ones away from us. Learn more about why we're so proud to support their invaluable work and also about our very own Tracey Diamond - the shining light and driving force behind our continued partnership with the Jodi Lee Foundation.

First up is our Lead X Ray Technician, Martin Rumbold. "I am the Lead X-Ray Technician with over 20 years of experience in the equipment servicing industry. I've been rocking it with FPE for 8 years now. I've worked on a wide range of equipment and have developed many skills to help me excel at what I do. People find me to be a great communicator and problem solver. I'm always ready for the next challenge! I travel a lot and divide my time between Australia and New Zealand. When I'm not working I enjoy tinkering with cars, playing golf and spending time with my family." #meettheteam

03.01.2022 This week we're introducing you to Shane Sumpter, our Territory Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. As he explains below, he always puts our customers first, whether it's through training or providing solutions. And so do the rest of our team - it's what they love doing. I enjoy that my role is varied and diverse with an emphasis on support, solutions and service. I also support the team - and our customers - with ongoing training. Being directly involved and hands-on with the equipment we sell is important to me and so is customer satisfaction. My background is service-based where I have spent many years as a Service Technician in Packaging and Food Machinery. I enjoy understanding how things work, and I believe this is helpful when finding solutions for my customers. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and restoring cars. #meettheteam
