20.01.2022 Hi guys!!! We’ve been a little quiet recently due to the pandemic... however I can let you all know that we have had some good news, moving forward with Kodi’s trip to England with Euro Football Star as well as the CQ SAPs team. We are looking forward to starting junior sports back up again soon in the coming month and I am really happy to announce that the England trip has been postponed until April 2021. Hopefully by then we will be nearing closer to (or have found) a vac...cine for Covid and things will have settled down and hopefully are back to normal (or near enough anyway ). We just wanted to take the time to say Thank you to everyone who has checked in with us around how moving forward with the trip is going and we really appreciate everyone’s support! While the fundraising had come to a halt, lots of family and friends were still collecting cans for Kodi and I will post an update later today about how this has been going for the last couple of months . Keep watch on this space for some upcoming events that will become available as the restrictions lift! Stay safe and healthy xx

19.01.2022 Nice photo of Kodi from the weekend!! He is in the blue . His team went undefeated over the weekend and he played hard in left back all weekend! A little different from the striking positions he is used to, but with some strong defensive players not making the carnival to other sporting commitments... he took it in his stride and did a great job!!

16.01.2022 ANNNNNDDDD THE WINNER IS!!!!! Karren Hayward with a guess of 2500 juggles. ... Kodi had a personal goal of doing 2000 in total, and his final tally for juggles in the 2 hours was 2959!!! What an effort- I’d say training for the arvo was definitely achieved! Thank you to everyone to played and picked a number, Sammy-Jo McGilvray clan for shaking the signs, family, friends, work colleagues and to Jess Tregea for helping us out with the ‘dough raiser’. An update will be posted tomorrow as to how successful it was . I’m off to bed with a full belly!

12.01.2022 Hi everyone!! Thought I would give a little update on how Kodi is travelling in the football world . It had been a quiet few months with the uncertainty of travel for next year still with COVID looming over Most countries. We are still waiting to hear back every couple of weeks regarding these plans for travel, so I will let you all know as we become aware . ... Kodi finished his last game for club a couple of weekends ago . He ended the season with 40goals in 12 games . We are incredibly proud of the humble and dedicated player he is on the field, always helping out his team mates and ensure he looks for the best option in the game. His game awareness has really come ahead! Fundraising: this year we have held off from all fundraising until we know more, however the Signed Jersey we had as a fundraiser at the beginning of the year is set to be drawn on the last game of the state of origin! I still have some tickets available if this is something you are keen for... please let me know below and I can send you details . Cans collection: we are still collecting cans! If you would like us to pick some up from you also let me know below . Looking forward!! While travelling overseas for football has been on hold... things haven’t slowed down for Kodi in his training or for his involvement in the CQ SAPs team for under 11s . We are travelling to Brisbane this Friday For him to compete with his team in the State titles over the weekend! We are looking forward to a big weekend of football before we travel home on Monday!! 12.01.2022 !!!Update!!! I just wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been following Kodi’s football journey so far. This year has been a bumpy ride and the road to UK is being updated every week due to the current climate we are experiencing. As mentioned before, they have moved the trip to April next year. ... In this uncertainty, Kodi has been putting his energy into his club and the CQ SAPs team he was selected for through football CQ. As a result of this he has now set a new personal best of 261 juggles in a row (101 more than his last PB) and has scored 15 goals in 4 games for his club, Buebirds! Kodi has his first SAPs carnival on the 15th and 16th of August versing Widebay and Mackay in Gladstone! We are continuing to collect cans for his UK trip and will helpfully have further fundraising events as the environment changes. 11.01.2022 Good morning all!! Just a quick update for the Jersey draw that is happening this Wednesday evening . The last game of the state of origin is on and what a good game it will be! Hopefully the Queenslanders can pull out all the stops to get the trophy back to where it rightfully belongs . ... 10.01.2022 Cans for Kodi UPDATE!! Kodi has been very busy working hard to collect and cash in cans to help him get the the UK in September for football . So far he has cashed in a total of - 5195 items!!... Every little bit counts so be sure to give us a yell and we can come and collect! Remember an alternative option for those who live elsewhere, you can cash in where you are and I can provide you with the details to his fundraising account for transfer. 09.01.2022 Kodi is still collecting cans even though his other fundraising efforts have had to be postponed . The last trip we were also forced to make an account up for Kodi and drop the cans off for counting, as they have shut the self serve areas down due to the Corona Virus . 05.01.2022 So much fun was had at the dough raiser this arvo!!! Was so lovely seeing everyone get their cheat meal for the week and it’s always a good time having family and friends come and support with some crazy dancing and board shaking!! Kodi is feeling very blessed tonight . Stay tuned for the final result of how many juggles managed to get done in the 2 hours we were there!! 02.01.2022 Well what a Rocky Road we have had so far!!!with this corona virus outbreak around the world, it has definitely slowed down our fundraising plans . That being said, it certainly hasn’t slowed down Kodi with his training! He still has the UK set firmly in his sights... it just may mean it won’t be until April next year. The plan to participate in the Euro Football Star trip is still going ahead, we just need to get past this very unpredictable and often unpleasant time that lay ahead . Kodi has continued his training each day for both the CQ SAPS team and Euro Football Star. We will try to keep everyone posted on how this is going as we hear more .
