12.01.2022 Footscray Bike Hub is another successful community project funded by the Pick My Project initiative. Over the past nine months the Inner West Community Bike Hu...b , partnering with Brimbank City Council, has connected people by repairing and recycling bikes and giving them to people who need them in the community. Bike Hub has given more than 280 bikes to asylum seekers and refugees. Sometimes the donated bikes are beyond repair but the crew at the Bike Hub strip it down and re-use all the parts. They are super sustainable, repairing and recovering all possible parts, right down to a bike tube. Keep up the great work! Katie Hall MP

04.01.2022 ESSENTIAL BIKES! Lots of people are riding bikes for transport and exercise at the moment. It's a great way to get around during these restrictions. We are open... Monday to Friday for bike services and repairs. We also have second hand bikes for sale. Please feel free to send us a message with any questions you have. See more

03.01.2022 A great article about community bike shed! Unfortunately we can't have volunteers working at the moment, if you're interested please contact us when restrictions lift! Right now though, we are putting the call out for bike donations. If you have a bike you would like to donate please feel free to drop it off (contact-less) at 38-40 Moreland Street, Footscray. We're open Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 10 to 5. Please share!
