10.01.2022 Hidden along the Maribyrnong River, a 128-hectare site formerly occupied by the Defence Force lies vacant. In this podcast from ACCA - Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Timmah Ball takes us on a walk around the site examining its colonial history, its military use, its eery abandonment and possible future uses. LISTEN : https://acca.melbourne/six-walks-episode-five-timmah-ball/

10.01.2022 The first three rounds of the VTA season are complete and now the comp has a break until mid-January. Gumnuts sitting pretty in the top 4 with two wins from three games! And two of their players are in 2nd and 4th on the individual rankings for the whole comp. Doughnuts yet to crack it for a win but they've gone very close in two games so hopefully can break their duck early in 2021. The top Doughie is sitting in equal 5th on the individual leaderboard.

07.01.2022 All of us at FTC wish you a Merry Trugomas and a relaxing holiday break See you in 2021!

07.01.2022 We're so proud of the Gumnuts who played top-team Brunswick in the semi-finals today. The Gummies took it right up to Brunny (who are the past two seasons' premiers), going down by a slim margin of 4 goals. The Gums back up in the Preliminary Final on Sunday against Ascot Vale for the chance to play Brunswick in the Grand Final.

06.01.2022 You can’t keep a good pub down! Great to see our mates The Vic back soon

06.01.2022 Get ready to Trugo! Both our teams will be in action in Round 1. The Doughnuts host Ascot Vale, and the Gumnuts are away to Sandridge.

05.01.2022 We came, we saw, we trugoed! Last night the Doughnuts hosted Ascot Vale in the first Trugodome game for the season. And it felt so good to be back Plenty of positives for the Doughies but the Vales were just too good on the night, winning 117-95.... Big props to Kate for her team-high score of 16, and to Helen our acting captain for taking care of official business (plus wearing some pretty ace Doughie-coloured socks). The Gumnuts play Sandridge midday Saturday, so come along and cheer them on.

05.01.2022 Happy Tonkday! A bunch of our team members joined in a covid-safe practice hit today, for the first time since June. And it was great

03.01.2022 A tale of two scoreboards... and two Footscray wins in yesterday's VTA games The Gumnuts journeyed to Port Melbourne and continued on their merry winning way, defeating Port 132-115. (The scoreboard says Sandridge but it was definitely the playing). The Gummies are now in 3rd spot on the ladder, two games inside the top 4. Exciting times... they're looking good to be the first revived FTC team to make the finals.... And last night the Doughnuts hosted Sandridge, registering their first win for the season with a 129-117 win. That lifts the off the bottom and up to 7th on the ladder.

03.01.2022 Family fun with the resident black swans at Newell's Paddock. One of the Scray's hidden gems
